A Merry Little Thanksgiving

Grandma & Poppy visited Falyn @ BYU Thanksgiving
Farah & her buddy Pugslee

Farah and Scott

We enjoyed a couple days in beautiful Palm Springs this week. We knew Scott would be working Thanksgiving- luckily he did make Thanksgiving dinner (work clothes and all). We actually thought about going to dinner at Harris Ranch, but we found out you need reservations months in advance. So, Farah and I made a mad dash to the grocery store braving the lines, and voilĂ  dinner is served!

November 20, 2010 We attended Uncle Larnce's 90th Birthday Party at "Hodels" in Bakersfield. About 100 guests attended. We had a delicious dinner, followed by a video of Uncle Larnce's life, and birthday cake! It was great to see 2 of my triplet Aunts (Palvine & Lorean) also Uncle Tom, Uncle Melvin, and Aunt Mary Ann. Shannon flew from Salt Lake to attend the party- which is always a plus for me! My Mom & Dad were also there along with my Aunt Pauline. Lots of cousins, and plenty of fun! Scott, Farah and I enjoyed the evening (Falyn we missed you).

Falyn is in Provo Utah, currently she is working at a sport's grill as hostess; and she is taking 12 units from BYU. Every time I ask Falyn to take pictures for me, she insists she's too busy! Luckily someone took a picture or two for me.

Friday, November 5th, 6:30 P.M. Game Day! I seriously thought Scott was going to shed a tear or two as Farah took to the field to play powder puff football. Farah and her team "Juniors" played the Sophomore Class first and won, advancing them to a final playoff with the "Seniors". Farah and her team dominated the field for a 13-0 win! The games were exciting and Farah played well. She held her own, nobody got by her and nobody took her down (maybe she has a little Scott in her after-all). Grandma and Poppy ever the good sports, drove up from Bakersfield to cheer Farah on to victory!!! Farah is easy to spot in the pictures- she is the only girl wearing pants.
