Sunday September 4, 2011 was Great Grandma Terrill's 96th Birthday. Harry and Dawn hosted a party at their home for Grandma, family, and friends . And, Monday September 5, 2011 was Great Grandma's birthday party part II. Hosted by the Jim Terrill family. What can I say? When you're 96 you can have two parties too! We had a lot of fun- good food, and great company. Grandma Terrill told me, she doesn't eat much chocolate or candy any more... however she would make an exception for the See's fudge we brought her for her birthday. :)

Toga Day is a day, usually the day of the first rally, when seniors adorn themselves in "togas." It is a Lemoore High School tradition. Lemoore High School is 110 years old this year.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2

"The last Harry Potter: Almost like watching your childhood come to end" Falyn would definitely agree. The first Harry Potter movie debuted in 2001, she was 11 years old, and the last movie she is now 21. Falyn & Farah have both grown up with Harry Potter, the books and the movies. Fact is our family loves the story. Falyn and her roommates had so much fun dressing up as characters for the premier. Scott and I didn't dress up, but we also enjoyed the movie. Farah is going today...

We had a great week in Palm Springs and Southern California. The best part- having Falyn home. We went to an Angel's game, Hotel del Coronado, Downtown Disneyland, and visited family in Cherry Valley- lots of fun! We love summertime.
