Today is Pugslee's 7th birthday! We usually bake him cup cakes for his special day; but more than anything he loves ice-cream cones from Mc Donald's. So, we indulged him... yep we're weird dog people!

October 17, 2009 Farah participated in our stake's road show. Our ward's skit was "Harry Potter" meets "High School Musical". Farah played "Cho Chang" from "Harry Potter". Farah and Lauren ditched their prep school jackets as soon as the skit ended. Scott and his stake young men's presidency barbequed hot dogs and hamburgers for more than 500 road show guests and participants.

August 14, 2009, The Lemoore High School Choirs presents Fall Choir Concert

Lemoore High Choirs are: Men's Choir, Women's Choir, Advanced Women's Choir, Concert Choir, Show Choir, and Chamber Singers. Farah is a Chamber Singer- it is the most prestigious choir to be in. To be selected you must audition for three days, and be chosen by a comittee. Farah is the youngest member and only sophomore girl to be in Chamber Singers, we are very proud of her.

Chamber Singers sang: "Down in the River to Pray" "Locus lste" "Earth Song" and "Why We Sing" the last song with combined LHS Choirs and Choir Alumni.

Singing the School Alma Mater

The Chamber Singers are on the Lemoore Advance website for the Freedom Walk they did on 9/11/09. Go to - http://www.thelemooreadvance.com/ and follow the link for the Band. The Chamber singers are in the middle of the video.

Farah was asked to sing the National Anthem and Lemoore High School's Alma Mater at "Back to School Night" along with selected members from her chamber choir. Here is my first attempt at uploading short videos. Enjoy!

It's that time of year again, school pictures... say cheese! This is Farah's sophomore picture. It's hard for me to believe that my baby is 15, a sophomore in high school, and 5' 8". Farah recently sang "The Star Spangled Banner" at a September 11th memorial, complete with a fly over by the Navy of course!

February 2004 our Pugs, had puppies! We have been fortunate to stay in touch with two of the puppy’s owners throughout the years. Recently I received an e-mail from Gracie's owner, Catherine Deeter; she told me that she and Gracie would be featured in "Better Homes & Garden" magazine. So, here are the pictures from the magazine- doesn't Gracie have a lovely home? It makes us happy to know that our (former) puppy has such a wonderful home, and owner. Something to woof about!
