December 3, 2010 Farah auditioned for "Savior Of The World" it's an easy date to remember; because it is also the night Farah had her first full blown pancreatitis attack. I knew that Farah was seriously ill when I saw her lying on the floor of the Visalia Stake Center Cultural Hall. I asked if she wanted to go home, but Farah said, not until I sing! She managed to sing beautifully before collapsing inside the car and crying all the way home. I didn't know if Farah would be chosen to sing in the musical. We have a lot of talent in our three stakes, and Farah didn't feel well. We received a letter in the mail inviting Farah to be in the musical. It has not been an easy five months. Many, many, many hours of practice until midnight on top of homework, piano lessons, young womens' activities, and many, many doctor appointments and a surgery too! There were three performances, the first on April 22, at 7:30 PM, the second Saturday April 23, 2:00 PM, and Saturday, 7:30 PM. Farah's best friend Claire attended Friday night's performance, Grandma & Poppy celebrated their 45th Anniversary on Saturday the 23rd by attending Farah's matinee performance, and Scott was finally able to attend Saturday night's final performance. I was lucky enough to attend all three. What a beautiful rendition of the life of our Savior, His birth and resurrection.

What a great program to enhance your celebration of Easter. Farah is such a trooper to sing through her pain!

To hear Farah sing so beautifully, in such a wonderful production of the Savior, was the best gift we could receive for our 45th anniversary. It was truly breathtaking. It will be a memory that will last forever. By the way Shelly, you have the most beautiful blog of anyone I've ever seen. I love the creativeness, the music, the writing, & the pictures. You are amazing! Who raised you?

Thank you- it was a beautiful musical. I'm so happy Farah was chosen to be apart of it. I'm glad it was the perfect anniversary gift too.

Thank you for the compliment on the Blog- it's not hard, just time consuming. LOL :)
