Terrill Family Party 2009
December 27th We attended the annual Terrill Family Christmas Party in Monrovia. We had a delicious spaghetti dinner, and for dessert birthday cake (Thanks to Uncle Harry & Scott for having Dec. birthdays) and ice-cream. The Nativity was reenacted as we sang Christmas Carols. We enjoyed seeing Aunts, Uncles, Grandmas, Grandpas, Cousins and Friends.

Merry Christmas to All...

Dr. Suess – How the Grinch Stole Christmas
And the Grinch, with his Grinch-feet ice cold in the snow, stood puzzling and puzzling, how could it be so? It came without ribbons. It came without tags. It came without packages, boxes or bags. And he puzzled and puzzled ’till his puzzler was sore. Then the Grinch thought of something he hadn’t before. What if Christmas, he thought, doesn’t come from a store. What if Christmas, perhaps, means a little bit more.
We had a a great Christmas. Grandma and Poppy arrived on Christmas Eve, we ate dinner, and then drove to Riverdale to watch the nativity reenacted. We especially got a kick out of the camel. It was a fabulous performance. We returned home to play charades and read Christmas stories. We indulged in English Toffee, apple pie, ice-cream, and apple cider. Christmas morning we were treated to breakfast by Grandma & Poppy. Fresh oranges, biscuits, eggs, country potatoes, and ham. We enjoyed the 71 degree weather as we opened our gifts. We surprised Grandma & Poppy with tickets to see Chris Botti in concert. Then they surprised us with a Flip Video Camcorder, and real 1/2 kt. diamond earrings for all of the girls! Falyn got the Juicy Couture purse she wanted; and Farah got the jacket from Abercrombie & Fitch that (she convinced me months ago) had her name on it! The gifts are wonderful. But being together as a family and celebrating the nativity... priceless.

Happy Anniversary & Happy Birthday Scott
Our Anniversary was Friday, December 18th. Scott surprised me with reservations at the Anaheim Marriott, and dinner at "Napa Rose". Saturday December 19th, was Scott's birthday. We spent the day at Disneyland, it was so much fun. They gave Scott a "Happy Birthday Scott" button. All day long people kept saying "Happy Birthday" it was a lot of fun. Sunday we drove to Lake Elsinore to visit Heather, Steve, and children. Heather made a delicious dinner, and we discovered that Scarlett is quite the dancer.

we ought to hear at least one little song every day, read a good poem, see a first-rate painting, and if possible speak a few sensible words.
